The Annual Virginia Caribbean Music and Food Festival will be celebrated on Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 2pm to 10 p.m. It will taje place at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex, 2044 Landstown Center Way. This event features Reggae & Caribbean music, food, arts and crafts, a kid’s fun zone, gate prizes and more for the entire family. Children ages five and under are admitted free; advance tickets for children six to 12 are $10; general admission advance tickets are $39.50.
AMME is a 501 (c) non-profit organization that was started in 2017 by the Palmer Family as a way to partner with the community to assist low-income homes and individuals.
Our mission is to provide proper attire and job interview preparation for low-income individuals seeking employment. Our goals are to get these individuals to understand the importance of arriving at an interview properly dressed and groomed, and to make them more knowledgeable when it comes to answering interview questions professionally. We are funded by donations from individuals, corporations, and fundraising events to achieve our goals.
All event proceeds are used to interview preparation and attire to low income individuals seeking employment.
